On February 28th, 2018, Prof. Hu Qiang and Prof. Xiang Jianhai visited AR-ARC. Prof. Hu Qiang is the chief scientist and director of Microalgae Biotechnology Center of SDIC，the director of SDIC-IHB Center for Microalgal Biotechnology & Biofuels Unveiled. He is also the expert approved by Global Experts Recruitment Program. Prof. Xiang Jianhai is the former director of the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the Crustacean Society Award for Excellence in Research in 2017.

Prof. Deng Tianlong, the Dean of the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences, met the guests. Prof. Sui Liying, director of AR-ARC, introduced AR-ARC and its main researches to the guests. The guests gave the full affirmation to the development of the center and raised valuable proposals. Both the sides shared common interests on potential application of microalgae in Artemia culture and reached preliminary cooperation intention.
